1. Scope and provider

These terms apply to all contracts concluded on aiblog.website and on the blogs hosted there:

  • AI blogs (part A): customers book AI-generated blogs on their own domain and article packages,
  • the ad-free subscription (part B) for readers of the blogs.

Part C applies to both. The provider and your contractual partner is:

Part A – AI blogs for customers

2. Service

We provide automatically written news blogs ("AI blogs") on a domain of yours:

  • hosting of the blog on our server, set-up of the domain and an SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt),
  • an automatic search for source websites that match the description of your blog,
  • articles that an AI writes on the basis of current articles of these sources, in English with translations into German, Spanish, Dutch and French, with tags, featured images, internal links and sitemaps,
  • optionally: teasers of the articles in the Fediverse and on Bluesky, your own advertising codes, manual AI articles, visitor statistics,
  • an admin area on aiblog.website to manage your blogs.

How many articles are published depends on your settings, your quota (section 6) and the sources: if they have no new topics that suit your blog, fewer articles are published. We do not promise any rankings in search engines, any indexing, number of visitors, reach or income. Search engines and other platforms may handle AI-generated content in their own way.

The AI articles are written by AI services of third parties. We choose and configure them; we may change them if the quality of the articles stays comparable.

3. Customer account

You need a customer account on aiblog.website. You must be at least 18 years old, provide truthful information, keep your password secret and must not pass on your account to others. Customer accounts log in on aiblog.website only.

4. Booking and conclusion of the contract

You book a blog or an article package in the admin area under Main › Billing. The presentation of the bookings is not a legally binding offer. When you click the button "Book with obligation to pay", you are forwarded to PayPal. By confirming the subscription at PayPal, you submit a binding offer to conclude the contract. The contract is concluded when we activate the booking; you will see this in Main › Billing and receive a confirmation by email, which contains these terms. The contract language is English; translations of these terms are for information only. We store the contract text; these terms can be viewed at any time at aiblog.website/terms/.

5. Prices and payment

The prices shown in Main › Billing when you book apply; currently €9.98 per month for a blog including 3 AI articles per day and €4.98 per month for an article package with 5 more AI articles per day. In accordance with § 19 UStG (German small business regulation), no VAT is charged and therefore none is shown.

Every booking is a PayPal subscription of its own. The price is charged monthly in advance via PayPal, for the first time when the contract is concluded and then on the same day of each following month. The terms of PayPal apply to the payment.

If a payment fails, your blogs get no new AI articles until PayPal has collected it; the blogs stay online. If the payment has not been made 14 days after the due date, the booking ends and the blog of a blog booking is deleted (section 8).

6. Quota of AI articles

Your bookings give you a daily quota of AI articles: 3 for each booked blog and 5 for each article package. The quota is shared by all of your blogs. All AI articles of the last 24 hours count, automatic ones and those you request manually (Main › AI Content). Unused articles do not carry over. You distribute the automatic articles over your blogs yourself (number of articles and frequency); settings that exceed the quota are not saved.

If your quota goes down (e.g. at the end of an article package), the blogs with the most automatic articles are turned down automatically until they fit into the quota again; we will inform you by email.

7. Term and cancellation

Every booking runs for one month and renews automatically by one further month unless it is cancelled. You can cancel each booking at any time without notice with effect to the end of the period already paid for: in Main › Billing, in your PayPal account or by email to the address above. Everything keeps running until then; amounts already paid are not refunded, unless you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal.

We may cancel a booking with one month's notice to the end of a billing period. The right of both parties to terminate for good cause remains unaffected; good cause for us is in particular a serious or repeated breach of sections 10 to 12 despite a warning.

8. Deletion after the end of a booking

When a blog booking ends (after a cancellation at the end of the paid period, or 14 days after an unpaid due date), the blog is deleted with all of its content: posts and their translations, pages, images, tags, visitor statistics, AI jobs, its Fediverse account (servers that follow it are told that it was deleted) and its configuration on our server, including the virtual host of the domain. The deletion cannot be undone. Please save any content you want to keep before the end of the booking. Copies that other services made of the blog (e.g. search engines, Fediverse servers, archives) are beyond our control.

Your customer account and your imprint are kept; we delete them on request.

9. Domain, DNS and imprint

You need a domain of your own, which you register and pay for yourself and which you are entitled to use. You set its DNS records (A records for the domain and for "www." to the IP address of our server, shown in the admin area); the SSL certificate is requested automatically as soon as the domain points to our server. Delays caused by DNS settings or by your registrar are not our responsibility. After the end of a booking, you should point the DNS records elsewhere.

You are the provider of your blogs. You must keep a complete and correct imprint (legal notice) in Main › Imprint, as required by the law applicable to you (e.g. § 5 DDG and § 18 MStV in Germany); it is shown on all of your blogs. As long as you have not saved an imprint, your blogs publish no AI articles.

10. Responsibility for the content

You are responsible for all content published on your blogs, including the content written automatically: AI articles, translations, titles, tags, featured images, Fediverse teasers and the source websites found automatically. The topics depend on the description of your blog that you provide. We do not check the content editorially.

AI can make mistakes: articles may contain wrong, outdated, incomplete or misleading statements, and articles that are based on texts of third parties may infringe their rights. You must therefore check the published articles regularly and correct or delete articles that are inaccurate or unlawful without delay (Main › Posts). We give no warranty that the AI-generated content is accurate, complete, original or lawful.

You grant us the non-exclusive right, limited to the term of the contract, to store, copy, translate and make publicly available the content of your blogs, and to send it to the Fediverse if you enable it, as far as this is necessary to provide the service.

If third parties assert claims against us because of the content of your blogs or your advertising, you indemnify us against these claims, including reasonable costs of legal defence, insofar as you are responsible for the infringement.

11. Your advertising

You can add your own advertising codes to each blog (banner, ads between the posts, a sponsored link). You are responsible for the advertisements and their content, for complying with the terms of the advertising networks you use and with the law, in particular data protection law: you must inform the visitors of your blogs about the advertising networks you use (e.g. on a page of your blog) and make sure that their consent is obtained where it is required. The advertising codes are only loaded after the visitor has agreed in the consent dialog of the blogs, and they run in a sandboxed frame that cannot read cookies or the page around it; some advertising networks may not work in it. We do not owe that a particular advertising network works or that you earn any income. Readers with an ad-free subscription (part B) do not see advertising.

12. Prohibited content and blocking

You must not use the service for content or advertising that violates the law or the rights of others, in particular: content that infringes copyright, trademark or personal rights; incitement to hatred, extremist, violent or pornographic content and content that is harmful to minors; deliberately deceptive content (e.g. fake news or invented quotes presented as facts), fraud, phishing or malware; spam and link schemes; and content that impersonates other persons or organisations.

If we become aware of such content, or if there are concrete indications of it, we may remove or block the content, pause the automatic articles, remove advertising codes or take a blog offline, as far as necessary. We will inform you and, where reasonable, give you the opportunity to remedy the situation first. Your obligation to pay for the period in which you are responsible for the blocking remains.

Part B – Ad-free subscription for readers

13. Service

With an active subscription, you can read the blogs hosted on aiblog.website while logged in to your user account without advertising and without the advertising scripts being loaded. The editorial content is the same with or without a subscription. There is no entitlement to a particular scope of content.

14. User account

A free user account is required for the subscription. You must provide truthful information, keep your password secret and must not pass on your account to others. One subscription applies to one user account.

15. Conclusion of the contract

The presentation of the subscription on the blogs is not a legally binding offer. By clicking the button "Subscribe with obligation to pay – €0.99/month" you are forwarded to PayPal. By confirming the subscription at PayPal, you submit a binding offer to conclude the subscription contract. The contract is concluded when we activate the subscription; you will see this on the subscription page and receive a confirmation by email. The contract language is English. We store the contract text; these terms can be viewed at any time at /terms/ on every blog.

16. Price, term and cancellation

The subscription costs €0.99 per month. In accordance with § 19 UStG (German small business regulation), no VAT is charged and therefore none is shown. The amount is charged monthly in advance via PayPal, for the first time when the contract is concluded and then on the same day of each following month. The terms of PayPal apply to the payment.

The subscription runs for one month and renews automatically by one further month unless it is cancelled. You can cancel at any time without notice with effect to the end of the current billing month, either on the page /subscribe/ of the blog, in your PayPal account or by email to the address above. You remain ad-free until the end of the month already paid for; amounts already paid are not refunded, unless you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal.

We may cancel the subscription with one month's notice to the end of a billing month. The right of both parties to terminate for good cause remains unaffected. If a payment fails, we may suspend the subscription until the payment has been made.

Part C – General provisions

17. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details can be found in the withdrawal policy. If you request that the service starts before the end of the withdrawal period, you have to pay a proportionate amount for the service provided until you withdraw, and the right of withdrawal expires once the contract has been fully performed.

18. Availability

We take care that the blogs and the admin area are available and work properly. Temporary interruptions are possible, in particular for maintenance and because of technical faults or faults of third parties whose services we use (e.g. the hosting provider, PayPal, Let's Encrypt, the AI services or the source websites). If AI services or sources are temporarily unavailable, articles are written later or not at all; this does not increase the quota of the following days. Your statutory rights in the event of defects remain unaffected.

19. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. In the event of slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose compliance you may regularly rely), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

20. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms with effect for the future if there is a valid reason, in particular changes in the law or in the service. We will inform you of changes by email at least four weeks before they take effect. If you do not object within this period, the changes are deemed accepted; we will point this out to you separately in the notification. If you object, both parties may cancel the affected contract at the time the changes take effect. Price changes require your express consent.

21. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not deprive you of the protection granted by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
